Meet Our Executive Leadership Team
Zane returned to NZ with his wife of 16 years and 4 young children after being invited to join NZ Bus in 2008 from Royal Dutch Shell after more than twenty years offshore leading transformational programs across multiple sectors that included Banking and Finance, Technology, Pulp and Paper, Civil Construction, Food , Television, Logistics and Oil and Gas.
Zane’s keys to success have been his ability to reengineer & redirect organizational focus in the delivery of sustainable performance outcomes, creating environments within that by setting people up for success along with providing development opportunities for employees; fostering stakeholder relationships by establishing environments based on trust, involvement , engagement at all levels and delivering what he says he and his team will deliver.
“The challenge of delivering true partnership models where parties are aligned on objectives, value differences and leverage from respective areas of expertise to provide the best value outcomes for customers, shareholders, employees and stakeholders alike is what gets me out of bed each morning along with a clear recognition that people are my business and without them none of which we strive for is possible“
“It’s also important to have fun and not take yourself too seriously, life’s too short for that”
