NZ Bus today announced changes that will further improve their already highly successful Airport Flyer service in Wellington.
From 14 January 2013, there will be a significant increase in frequency with the Airport Flyer bus departing Wellington Airport every 10 minutes during peak times to Wellington train station and back instead of the current 15 minutes. In addition to the new 10 minute peak frequency to and from the Airport and Wellington Station, all Airport Flyer buses will travel via Cobham Drive which will further enhance the reliability of this quality service.

Importantly, GO Wellington Route 14 will be extended to cover Rongotai Retail Park to recognise and support those customers who travel to the retail park by Airport Flyer currently.
NZ Bus further announced that the Airport Flyer route between Queensgate and the Airport will be reduced to every 20 minutes from 14 January 2013, and the current Airport Flyer service leg between Upper Hutt and Queensgate will be discontinued.
"The Valley Flyer - Route 110 which operates a 15 minute service to and from Upper Hutt and Queensgate provides an excellent alternate option for those customers in Upper Hutt who currently travel on the Airport Flyer to and from Queensgate to Upper Hutt " Mr. Fulljames confirmed.
"Customers from Upper Hutt wishing to travel to the Airport will be able to transfer onto an Airport Flyer service at Queensgate", concluded Mr. Fulljames.
