GO Wellington - Zero tolerance for theft

GO Wellington today confirmed that nine drivers have been dismissed in recent months due to irregularities in reconciling revenue off their buses.
“GO Wellington has zero tolerance for theft and complaints have been laid with the Police,” says Bruce Kenyon, General Manager GO Wellington.
“It is important to point out that we employ a driving force of 350 drivers and the number of drivers under investigation is a small minority,” says Mr Kenyon.
“Irrespective of this, as a business we will continue to investigate revenue discrepancies as and when they arise and in accordance with our employment processes take the appropriate action. We are unapologetic for this.”
