NZ Bus launches new state-of-the-art depot in Onehunga

From Sunday 30 October 2011, Metrolink’s Roskill operations moved to its new home at our state-of the-art facilities in Onehunga.
Over 200 people (operators and support staff) are now based at The Onehunga Depot -140 Neilson Street. The new facility boasts parking for over 100 buses, a body shop, fully equipped workshop, a gym, drivers room, training room and state-of –the-art offices and meeting facilities.
A combination of continued investment in our people, facilities, new and better buses and on-going driver training, will ensure we provide a better bus service; one that is more reliable, convenient, more frequent and more comfortable – a service that more people want to use.
