Valley Flyer helps netball team shoot for gold

Valley Flyer is proud to announce that they are the new sponsors of the Upper Hutt College Premier One netball team!
“At Valley Flyer we believe we have an important role to play in supporting our community, which is why we are delighted to offer our support to the Upper Hutt College netball team,” says Matthew Lear, General Manager of Valley Flyer. “The team is a great example of talented young people pulling together and putting in the hard yards to achieve their goals. We are truly happy that we can help them do this.”
Upper Hutt College is one of the larger schools in the Hutt Valley with 1200 students. They are very proud of their sporting achievements and the Premier One Netball team is one of the top teams in the local competition.
“Valley Flyer’s sponsorship has really helped us. The new tracksuits and playing uniforms they have supplied us with are fantastic,” says Jodie Robertson, defensive coach of the Upper Hutt College team. “The team has really felt honored by the sponsorship and have been proud to carry the Valley Flyer colours in our local competition.”
Their focus now is on the lower North Island Premier competition which is to take place in the first week of September in Gisborne. “Valley Flyer has also helped us with transport to this competition,” says Jodie. “Thanks to Valley Flyer, all the girls can now travel up there together which is important for team building and morale!”
