Whangarei
NORTHBUS
Acquired by NZ Bus in January 2008, NORTHBUS operates urban bus services and school and charter operations in Whangarei. New, purpose built buses have been specifically designed inside and out to provide a significant evolution in terms of passenger comfort and reliability for our Whangarei services.
Auckland
North Star
Whether you are a daily commuter, a student or an occasional shopper, North Star is the most convenient way to travel around the North Shore and Hibiscus Coast. Accessing Auckland city is quick and easy as all our buses use the Northern Busway.
Metrolink
Metrolink encompasses multiple journeys made by multiple people to multiple destinations. Auckland's strong links to the city and the sea are reflected in the ripples, which suggest the smooth connection of people and places, city and suburbs, connecting and overlapping. The colours reflect the urban sophistication of New Zealand's largest city and everything you can do there. Metrolink includes the iconic LINK service and the free City Circuit buses.

The bright green, environmentally friendly LINK bus is one of the smartest ways to get around the inner city. With one low price of $1.70, the Link bus will take you to Newmarket, Parnell, Queen Street, Ponsonby, Karangahape Road, Auckland Hospital and everywhere in between, every ten to 15 minutes from 6am and 11.30pm.
- City Circuit
NZ Bus is pleased to support the Auckland Regional Transport Authority, Heart of the City and Auckland City in providing a free City Circuit bus service aimed at encouraging people to use public transport around Auckland’s city centre.
GO WEST
GO WEST fuses together the destinations of Waitakere City with its rich surroundings to capture the passion and inspiration that fuels west Auckland. Its bright green and silver buses suggest the beauty of the Waitakere Ranges and its vibrant wildlife.
Waka Pacific
Waka Pacific, "vessel of the Pacific", serves the people of Manukau, Papakura and Pukekohe and connects them with many locations between south Auckland and Auckland’s CBD. Waka Pacific reflects the multi-cultural nature of the Counties Manukau area. The designs are inspired by the vibrant and diverse cultures that make up the communities in the area.
Wellington
GO Wellington
GO Wellington provides bus services throughout the Wellington city area. Its fleet of 223 buses includes Wellington’s iconic trolley buses.
Valley Flyer
Valley Flyer services connect Upper Hutt, Wainuiomata, Eastbourne, Stokes Valley and Wellington. Its logo, showing a tui is full flight, also expresses the winding flow of the Hutt River and the hills and mountains that frame the valley landscape. Illustrations featured on the Valley Flyer buses capture a slice of life in the Hutt – fishing, swimming, golfing, surfing and enjoying the Hutt River.

We also operate the Airport Flyer service that provides fast, easy travel between Hutt Valley and Wellington Airport.
